Kendall Jenner began modeling with the Wilhelmina Models agency at the age of 14. No doubt, she used her Kardashian connections to land gigs. She started out modeling for the clothing line forever. Since her first large exposure as a model in Teen Vogue, she has landed many high profile runway gigs and campaigns. She has modeled runway fashion for Marc Jacobs, Channel, Dolce and Gabanna, and many others. During one of her first runway jobs for Marc Jacobs, she wore a sheer top that allowed viewers to see everything. She received a lot of bad press about modeling the piece, but Jenner admits to not regretting it at all. She was also the face of Estee Lauder. In 2014 she was named the new “it” girl, and in 2015 she won the Teen Choice award for Favorite Model. By 2016, she was on Forbes' list of top paid models with an estimated annual income of $4 million.

Kendall + Kylie

Ever the sister pair, Kendall and Kylie released a clothing line. The line is called Kendall + Kylie, which is sold at stores such as PacSun, Nordstrom, and many other popular stores. Given the sisters somewhat opposing personal styles, the clothing line is a healthy mix between the two. The line features obvious 90's influence, but with a very modern adaptation. It ranges from basics to shoes to statement pieces. Given their clear fashion inspiration and the Kardashian-Jenner love for style, the clothing line was an instant hit.

A Novel Idea

The Jenner sisters took a stab at writing with the release of their novel, City of Indra. The book was sent in a dystopian society. However, the sisters, not surprisingly, did not write the book on their own, and hired two ghostwriters to help them. It really helped, because the book still didn't do well with critics. Though, with so many people disliking the Kardashian-Jenner family, it's not surprising that so many people made fun of the book attempt. It is possible some of the reviews were based for that reason. Though, considering Kendall and Kylie's young fan base, it is commendable that they released a novel, encouraging their young fans to read.

Sock Model

Rob Kardashian, Jenner's half brother, has not been quite as successful in his career as his sisters. Though, that doesn't mean he doesn't receive the occasional help from his sisters. In 2013, Rob came out with an Arthur George sock design and Kendall and Kylie stepped in to help model. The sisters modeled the colorful socks in short shorts, showing off their long legs. The supermodel blogged about how fun the photoshoot was, and voiced her support for her brother's line.

High School Cheerleader

Kendall and her sister Kylie, lived the typical American teenage life as cheerleaders in high school. They cheered for their California high school, Sierra Canyon's football team. In 2011, Kendall was on the cover of American Cheerleader magazine with her high school cheer outfit on. Her cheer coach spoke about Kendall Jenner in a very positive way. He said she was one of the most hilarious students he ever had. He reported that he did not think the fame had gotten to her, and he was surprised by how down to earth she was. She always had a way to make people smile and laugh, and always came up with new ideas for the team.

Rebellious Spirit

Though Kendall was, for the most part, a good kid. She did have a bit of a rebellious streak. In an interview, when asked what the worst thing she did as a teenager was, the now supermodel admitted to skipping class with her younger sister and then boyfriend. According to Jenner, she would go to the school office and tell the administrator that she had a lot of work and was stressed so they would release her from school. Then her boyfriend and sister Kylie would leave school with Kendall and go hang out do nothing.

Kendall Styles

The supermodel has an on and off again relationship with One Direction heart- throb, Harry Styles. The two started their relationship in 2013, though it was never confirmed. By 2014, the rumours were running wild. Jenner and Styles went on a trip to Mammoth Mountain in California together where Kendall snowboarded and Harry skied. Despite the flirting and smiling, according to sources, things never really got serious between the couple. In 2015, the two went on vacation together to Anguilla. On this trip, they were seen cozying up, and even kissing. Though no official announcement was ever made, it was generally assumed by the Kardashian family and the public that the two were dating. Today, sources have said Kendalll and Harry are rekindling their romance. Maybe this time around, things will get more serious.

All Natural

Unlike the rest of her family, and to the envy of her younger sister, Kendall frequently doesn't wear makeup. She confessed that if she could, she would never wear it. Her sister, Kyle spoke out about how envious she was of Kendall's confidence and natural beauty. She herself doesn't have the confidence to go out in public bare- faced like her sister. Kylie spends hours everyday putting makeup on, doing her hair, and even putting in colored contacts, while her sister practically rolls out of bed with model status.

The Kendall Diet

When you think of a supermodel diet, what usually comes to mind is leafy green veggies and quinoa. While most supermodels wouldn't come close to anything resembling junk food, Kendall views food differently. She often expresses her deep love for unhealthy food. She admits to loving burgers, pizza, and kit kat bars. Despite her diet, she somehow manages to maintain her rocking abs and long skinny legs.

Jenner-Gifford Ties

Kendall's godmother is the today co-host, Kathie Lee Gifford. According to Gifford, she met Kris Jenner at bible study years ago, and the family has kept close ties ever since. In fact, Kendall's mother, Kris Jenner, is the godmother of Gifford's own daughter, Cassidy. If it wasn't for Kathie Lee, Keeping Up With the Kardashians might not exist. According to the Today star, Initially came to her about a family reality show, but she declined and directed them toward the Kardashian family instead. According to Kris's biography about life as a Kardashian, Kathie Lee also helped her pick out the name Kendall!

Birth Control Controversy

On an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce Jenner was seen in outrage upon finding out Kendall was on birth control pills at age 15. Obviously he was upset at the thought of his young daughter being sexually active. However, Kendall's sister, Khloe later cleared up the reason her younger sister was taking birth control pills, not wanting her sister to have a reputation she didn't deserve. Khloe said her sister, Kendall was not taking birth control pills because she was sexually active, but for other reasons. It's common for women to use birth control for the management of menstrual cramps or acne. Given Kendall's history with acne, it's not unlikely that was one of the reasons for taking the pills. However, why it was kept a secret from her father is questionable.

Loner Life

Kylie might have been jealous of Kendall's no makeup look, but Kendall had a jealousy of her own growing up. Always a bit of a loner, Kendall admitted in an interview with Vogue, that she used to lock herself in her room and cry because Kylie had more friends than her. While making friends and being social came easy for Kylie, many of us can relate to Kendall's feelings of being a loner. As she has gotten older, she still has those tendencies and sometimes has to escape her fast paced life that barely gives her any privacy. When she really needs to be alone, she'll take someone else's car and find a place to be by herself. With paparazzi always on her tail, it sometimes takes the supermodel over an hour of driving to lose them and get some alone time.

Acne Problems

Though the supermodel shows no evidence of insecurity today with her endless selfies and topless photos on instagram, as a teenager, Jenner suffered from severe acne. Kendall recently opened up about her struggle in an interview. She admits to how it killed her self-esteem and how she wouldn't even let people see her face. After receiving treatment from a dermatologist her acne healed. Though, the effects of having bad acne as a youth are still with her. Jenner still suffers from occasional lack of confidence, especially when in front of a camera or when talking face to face with someone. As she gets older, her insecurities are shrinking, and she's come to realize acne is just something some people have to deal with.

Waking Nightmare

Kendall Jenner recently revealed on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she suffers from sleep paralysis, which is a condition where the person wakes up in the middle of sleeping and cannot move. The feeling can last up to a couple minutes. In the reality show, Jenner is shown arguing with her family her health condition. She says she “doesn't feel fine”, and her mother says it's “just anxiety.” Sleep paralysis can be caused by a number of things, including lack of proper sleep, use of alcohol or drugs, and anxiety, as mentioned by Kris.

Caitlyn Jenner

The supermodel's father, Bruce Jenner, famously transformed into Caitlyn Jenner, to the surprise of the world. However, to Kendall, it wasn't that much of a surprise. Growing up, her and Kylie had suspicions about their father. At one point, they believed Bruce was cheating on their mom after they found nail polish and makeup in his things. Before her complete transformation, and coming out, Caitlyn would wake up very early in the morning and get dressed up and walk around, then go back to being Bruce before the family was awake. Kendall tells of one early morning, when she woke up for a drink of water, and she saw Caitlyn for the first time, knowing it was her father, dressed as a woman. Caitlyn did not see her, and the incident was kept a secret until Caitlyn was officially introduced. While Kendall says she is accepting of her decision, she'll sometimes look at pictures of her dad when she was a guy and get sad.
